Every company starts with a story. Ours starts with a trip that fell apart.

A few summers ago, Ali booked a family trip to Turkey through a well-known Karachi agency. A 7-day package. Set hotels. Set itinerary. The standard deal everyone gets.

It didn't fit. He asked to add a day in Cappadocia so the family could see the balloons without rushing. "That's not in the package." He asked about halal restaurants for the kids. A shrug. He had a question at 7pm. "I'll get back to you tomorrow." Then the hotel got switched without anyone telling him.

He came home tired and angry, and he called Rahat, his wife, who'd spent years inside Qatar Airways. She said the line that became this company:

"They're not in the travel business. They're in the reselling business."

Packages exist for the agency. Trips exist for the family. They are not the same thing. So we built the agency we wished we'd had that summer. One that listens first. One that builds every trip from a blank page. One that picks up the phone at 11pm. Zaviamo, born in 2025, for Pakistani families across 8 destinations. One family at a time, on purpose.

Why Ali cares about Turkey (and every trip)

That frustrating Turkey booking wasn't abstract. It was his own family's vacation on the line. Years of travel across Istanbul, the Gulf, and beyond taught him what breaks when an itinerary is rushed or inflexible. Zaviamo exists so Pakistani families get pacing, halal-friendly options, and honesty, not a PDF that ignores how you actually travel.

Years with airlines and passengers in high-stress moments, delays, missed connections, confused families, showed her how much damage bad communication does. She brings that operational calm to Zaviamo: clear documents, reachable support, and plans that still work when the real world doesn't cooperate.

Ali, Founder

I'm not a travel industry veteran. I'm a business builder who loves travel and got burned by the system. That frustration is why Zaviamo exists. I'm the person you'll talk to when you reach out. I'm the one who'll ask what your kids eat, what time they wake up, and whether your parents need a room on a lower floor. I build the business. Rahat builds the trips.

Rahat Sakina, Co-Founder

Former Qatar Airways professional. Rahat knows the travel and aviation industry from the inside. Flights, layovers, airport logistics, airline partnerships, operator relationships. The knowledge that makes a trip work smoothly? That comes from years of doing it professionally, not from reading brochures. She's the reason Zaviamo can promise something most agencies can't: insider-level planning for every trip.
